One more for the collection of Greek Mythology Tattoos. I’m really focused on Greek Mythology and Egyptian related tattoos at the moment, it’s a subject I put my heart to it, as I’m fascinated by Egyptians and Greek Gods, and how they lived their life. I can not be more grateful to have been working with something I’m interested in. Thank you so much
Realistic black and grey Octopus, fantasy tattoo. I love working on large tattoos, I’m sure to look after the client as it takes a lot of dedication from them to stick with the process. Carl stuck with me until the end, so we had an amazing experience with him. Thank you so much Carl.
Realistic, black and grey, skull and octopus, fantasy tattoo. I love doing large tattoos, so when I get requested large pieces, I’m sure to look after the client as much as I can, as I understand it takes a lot of dedication from the client to come back, take a day off, save up, stick through out the process. So, I was grateful when Carl walked in the studio, he is such a cool dude, and made the process really fun. Thank you Carl.
I have been tattooing Preet for a few years now. She likes to get realism tattoos done in black and grey, so I look forward to see her. She requested a realistic eye tattoo with a vinyl spinning to represent her love for music. I also draw realism to learn about shadows, when you draw a realistic image, you can understand better how shadows fall on the subject. Thank you
Black and grey is a style that I always love to do, however I like to draw black and grey too, in order to understand shadow and being art focused outside of tattooing, it allows you to improve your tattooing. So drawing and painting, it allows you to take your tattoos further than just the reference, you can give more to your clients and something more unique if you are able to draw and paint. I always have fun tattooing lions, it’s always fun as they look so different in their expressions in every image, I’m happy to take realistic requests wit lions ad wild life, thank you for looking.
Richard has been a top guy to work with, we have similar interests in life and music. We previously worked on his half sleeve, and now we worked on his second. He had a request about an Angel killing the devil, and I was very happy about going ahead with it, as I’m focusing on that sort of style at the moment. When you get a nice client with a good request, it makes me look forward to go to work. Richard is also in to movies like I’m, we always spoken about all the classics from the 80’s, like Robocop, Terminator, Predator, Indiana Jones, all the best ones. Thank you Richard, you are the man.
This one is a bit of a blast from the past, but worth reminding about it. It was her first tattoo, so very brave girl to begin with. She wanted a coverage of the full side of her back. I was very surprised as usually for first tattoos, clients prefer to start small and build it up. So I was worried about letting her understand the process, patience and dedication needed in order to have a large tattoo. I was sure to be clear that only sticking through the process, you will get the end result. Specially with full back tattoos, not everything will look clear straight way, specially with the way I work, I build everything like a paint, so first, I apply a simple basic layer and add to that later, giving the skin the chance to heal, and go back to it. I don’t believe in damaging the skin so much, so I ask my clients to come back for a second pass. Anyway, all that worry I had with this tattoo, it went completely out of the gate, as she was very patient and had faith in the process. Sometimes clients really surprise me, with how young they are and how sensible they are, willing to put the time needed to have a nice tattoo. With this black and grey tattoo, we tried to achieve a mix of realistic and fantasy style to it. Follow me on Instagram/louissantostattoo.Thank you for reading.
